There may come a time in you pet’s life when they need emergency veterinary care. Having a plan in place ahead of time can literally save your pet’s life if and when that time comes.
In that moment, the last thing you want to be thinking about is where to go for help and how to get to the emergency clinic. Minutes, and even seconds, may count, so you’ll want to be well prepared in advance. Perhaps most important, however, is knowing when to seek emergency care.
If in doubt, contact your veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic immediately. It’s best to err on the side of caution, and if you can’t get through to your veterinarian or it’s after hours, we would suggest you go directly to your closest emergency veterinary clinic.
